The Ogun State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules, 2014 prescribe the practice and procedure governing civil proceedings before the High Court of Ogun State. The Rules provide a comprehensive procedural framework regulating the commencement of actions, filing and service of court processes, pleadings, interlocutory applications, trial procedure, judgments, enforcement of court orders, probate and administration, appeals, and other civil proceedings before the High Court. They were made pursuant to section 274 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), and other enabling statutory provisions empowering the Chief Judge to regulate civil practice and procedure in the High Court.
