The Factories (Diving At Work) Regulations, 2018 seek to provide the legal framework to regulate all diving operations carried out offshore, inshore and onshore within the territorial waters of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Regulations were made by the Minister of Labour and Employment by virtue of the powers conferred on him by the provisions of section 49 of the Factories Act and other enabling powers.
