The Act repealed the Nigerian Education Bank Act Cap. N104, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and enacted the Students Loans (Access to Higher Education) Act, 2023 to provide easy access to higher education for indigent Nigerias through interest free loans from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund established under the Act with the view to providing education for all Nigerians; and for related matters.
