The Administration of Justice Commission.

By creation of a federal law, there was an Administration of Justice Commission for the general supervision of administration of justice across Nigeria.

The Administration of Justice Commission was to ensure the courts system is adequately financed, judges conform to Code of Ethics of their office, criminal cases are speedily dispensed and congestion in prisons is reduced while persons awaiting trial are not detained in prisons.

The Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015, repealed the The Administration of Justice Commission Act and as such collapsed the The Administration of Justice Commission.

My authorities are sections 1, 3 and 11 of the Administration of Justice Commission Act.
