Onyekachi Umah Speaks To ChannelsTv On SARS/SWAT And The New Police Act.

At the peak of protests across Nigeria, against police brutality and abuse of human rights, the ChannelsTv interviewed Onyekachi Umah, Esq. on 15 October 2020. The interview reveals the legal status of the defunct Special Armed Robbery Squad (SARS) and its successor, the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT). It also examined the duties of the Nigeria Police Force under the new Police Act 2020. The interview was aired by ChannelsTv at 3:30pm on 17 October 2020 during the Law Weekly program anchored by Shola Soyele. Below is the interview.
